What we catch
Built to see the money, not the 200
Plain uptime checkers see a 200 and move on. LinkWatch understands affiliate links — the tag, the network, the merchant, the money.
Stripped affiliate tags
Your Amazon tag= or network ID silently vanished — the link works, the commission doesn't. A theme update is usually the thief.
Wrong affiliate ID
The credit parameter is present but it isn't yours. Catches template regressions and affiliate-hijack malware.
Dead links & products
404s, retired ASINs, discontinued products. Confirmed over multiple scans before we alert — we never cry wolf.
Retired networks
Old rover.ebay.com links died network-wide. If your archive still carries them, every click earns £0.
Dead canonical hosts
Your sitemap points at a domain that no longer resolves. Search engines notice before you do.
Redirect changes
A merchant redirect that used to land on a product now lands on a homepage — or a competitor.
